I am also offering clinical supervision for other therapists who are seeking guidance either in my specialty areas or in generalist practice.

I consider myself fortunate to be able to practice counseling in Berkshire County and to be able to help individuals create meaningful changes in their lives.

I specialize in OCD, Perinatal Mental Health, and personal growth across diagnostic categories. I integrate multiple evidence-based practices such Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Exposure/Response Prevention with narrative and person-centered approaches. I believe strongly in the benefit of metaphor and narrative as it relates to therapy, as well as the importance of working with “the whole person” rather than just a list of diagnoses. I am a certified Postpartum Support International (PSI) Perinatal Mental Health Professional and enjoy working with parents and their families and helping them accomplish their goals.

At this time my main clinical focuses are perinatal/postpartum mental health and OCD.

I offer confidential support to clients around abortion, neonatal loss, and barriers to safe reproductive health care.

I am a Massachusetts Licensed Mental Health Counselor, PSI Certified PMH-C, Certified in Newborn Behavioral Observation by the Brazelton Institute at Harvard Medical Center and Boston Children’s Hospital, and an NACBT Certified Anxiety Specialist. I practice counseling as an associate of Darlene C. Berryman, LICSW, LLC.

Clinical supervision is also available for clinicians in various phases of clinical development, both related to specialty and generalist practice.

The quickest way to get a hold of me is to send me an email. Be sure to include your age, insurance carrier, where you are located, and what you are hoping to work on.

I look forward to hearing from you, and hopefully I am the “therapist near me” that you have been searching for!
